Arent old fighter chevrons stitch woven into different colored backings when made for the different branches of service like blue for luft, black for ss etc? I am not positive thats a old fighters chevron, as what branch would it be ..with the white, or off white edge?

That is not an Old Fighter's chevron, it's a rank chevron. If you want a rank chevron like this, than it's fine. If your looking for an Old Fighter's chevron, this isn't it.

            1.
I wonder if people cannot read

            2.
            original website description:
Rottenführer arm chevron for the drill/work tunic, this one came out from a German veteran SS lot.
Both chevrons look more like the pattern from the old fighters chevrons. Scrapbook removed

            3.
            INFO:
            Photo are under my property!
Don't wonder when people will not show anymore all details or info's on their websites like others do already!

            4.
if u may noticed maybe you cannot delete the photo

            5.
why not contacting me directly, afraid or thinking I am not honest with my description?
I never offered them as Old fighter chevron’s only the pattern looks kind of similar.

            6.
and then having the guts temper with my photos and work on them. Thank YOU!

I think you will find that i can read! and if you could, you would see that i was sent the image by a freind who was looking for one for me. I had no idea the image was watermarked by you (as i hadnt seen the original).

I asked a qustion on the info i was given, sorry it didnt agree with you guys.

Now just chill out, this forum has a reputation of being full of tarts and as such this will be my last post, you may say "who cares" but i am not the only one who thinks this.

You stated above you knew it was Robert's so whether it was watermrked or not its still his image, and why would your friend take the time to cut the water mark off before sending you the pic?was he afraid youd post it here?doesnt make sense. Was your friens acting as a middle man here?why would he not give you teh location so you could read the description yourself?seems fishy to me,sorry but thats just me.And no jUST TO ADD Robert never CLAIMED THIS TO BE AN OLD fIGHTERS CHEVRON,JUST SAID TEH PATTERN LOOKS SIMILAR TO ONE,BUT BEING ON THE LIGHT COLORED DRILL TUNIC IT IS STILL A RARE ITEM.

                  Question

QUESTION ,IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH SHOWING A PHOTO OFF A DEALERS WEB SITE OF AN ITEM IF YOU ARE INTERESTED TO BUY IT , AND ARE NOT SURE IF IT IS ORIGINAL? WILL

Why does there always have to be something "going on"? cant it just be human error. As said in the post below, i didnt know it was against the rules to discuss a dealers photo on the forum? To be honest guys, it was a simple mistake for which i am sorry, either we can let this go or we can dwell on a subject which i think is resolved.
