    Eagles for Review

Not sure if this is the right place to post but these eagles were part of a large collection I picked up last Fall. Can you tell me something about them?
They don't appear to be ever issued. Its dark here so sorry for the lighting.
    Thanks
    Mike

          Awesome!
Could someone please translate the tag?
My German is not very good...
Also, what is the maker code on the eagle?

          Thanks, Jack

Hmmm...without commenting on the eagle, there's something about the tag I just don't like...the writing on the tag looks more like a careful attempt at this script than the product of someone who used it all the time...

SS Hoheitabzeichen then I assume further it means Herst. 803
I have my doubts as a Probe piece should look different for my view.

Robert, I think that abbreviation refers to something similar to "item or article" #803. I would like to see more of the reverse side detail.

I agree...these are pretty rare to find. The one's I've seen don't look that. It's possible they also used a stamped lead seal ?

                    Art. 803

it's a bogus for my view as it should read on the "Plombe" RZM and then there should be a round marked tag to it plus a different cord.

Maker mark is 155/36. It's not a bogus piece. I know the vet's family. They didn't even know he had this stuff until he passed.

I would be willing to send this piece to you for hands on inspection if you would like.

I believe Derek C. has a 1936 RZM price list.

803 Hoheitsabzeichen für erdgraue Dienstmütze in Aluminium -.22

The Cupal version was only for the black visor anyhow.

So, somehow made a good homework or this thing is OK

I was wondering could the " MPA" stand for MaterialPrufungsamt Assmann?
