Could I please get help finding out if this shoulder boards is original or not, please? It came of an original coat but I am not knowledgable on this. It is reasonably flexible in hand, not stiff. Thanks

This board seems to made of different cording than one would expect. Is the silver metallic? (Looks silky white). It does not appear that way from the photo. Also, there is no hole in the board for the button. If this board was for sale on a dealers table, I would simply pass it by.

Yes, the board looks more white. There is no real hole except where it appears one was made to accomaodate perhaps a button loop pushing through.
