    Warei 1942

    Hello,

I want to show you one of my favourite zelt , plane tree with the early oak leaf underlay, WAREI 1942.
I have not seen one on this forum and seems to be quite rare.
    Comments are welcome.

that is a awesome example of a zelt the colours are vibrant and the pattern crisp Werner needs to add your zelt to his book

that is one super zelt - the 3/4's seem to be the rarest of the planetrees and yours is in, what appears to be mint condition.
Im particularly interested in the head hole facing pattern on the spring side - its unusual.

thanks so much for posting this one - always a pleasure to see another beauty.

It looks like the lateral pattern, a small chance it could be polyspot but from that small section shown I tend towards lateral.

                Nice zelt

                Cheers

I think you're right Fritz, the head hole seems lateral on this one.
You can see one with the same camo on the M.Beaver and JF.Borsarello p 54 with a polyspot head hole.
                  Thanks all for the replies

Funny how no one mentions the green and browns reversed printed, making it even rarer.

Fantastic and hard to find zelt! I have had the hardest time finding SS zelts in this condition, with vibrant colors. Oaks yes. Planetree Zelts, Blurred Edge, Lateral, not so much. Rarely see them at even the big shows.
                        Regards. Frank
