    SS M-43, Maybe?

Picked this up this past weekend at a show, you can see were the old trap was removed. The trap I posted was with the hat but removed, when I do not know. Thanks, Dave.

No comments? I know someone noticed the honest wear. I don't know what was under the black mark above the size. The hat was inspected by some of the "high end dealers" at the show, I just wanted to get a Forum take if I decide to sell.

Same opinion as the SS trap.

I would like to re-apply the trap to the M43, but I don't want to sew through the lining, I guess hand sewing would be in order. All those in favor say aye... Opposed?

If you have no proof that either are original or indeed that they came together originally then why not just tack the corners for display.

I believe both the hat,and the trap (form what was shown and said on the forum) are good from the the feed-back at the Pamona show last weekend and from this site. The gentlemen I received good feed back were both SS collectors. I do respect there opinions. Yes, they both came together.

The feedback here on both has been sceptical to say the least You're reading what you want to see.
