    Typically, the zinc 167 eagles are in the more common of the SS eagle variations, (common as to some other SS eagles, not common as to a Heer eagle, so not to confuse the use of the word common here).
    However, this particular 167 is a bit rarer the usual 167 because
    of the finish, which is the harder to find, Nickel plated finish.
    You can see that these tend to have a darker, yellow color.
    Very nice!

    Here are a couple of mine for comparison, (showing both finish variations).

      Hey thanks Chris for this info,,,,I also have both styles of 167,,,,,,thats why I made the comment about its being rare,,,from what I know about,,you confirmed it,,again thanks,Greg

        Now, the aluminum 167 eagles are most certainly in the rare catagory.

          The Aluminium, you're certainly talking about the one with the different prong attachment. This one is very rare indeed.



          p.s You'll see years from now, even the ugliest relic skull will be more valueable than a mint one today (when the mint ones won't be available no more).

            Carl, well said! as items become less available now and then, and those with zinc pest, rust and broken bits cause even less and less items to be available, no doubt price will just double or triple in 10 years from now.
