    TK opinion..please

    Hi Guys,
    I have been offered this TK, I personally like it.
    Anyone else have the same thoughts?

                  That is a very nice original and hard to find in that material and condition.

                  However, are you sure the pins have not been repaired? I see something in the photos, which makes me think they were (which I would rather discuss privately than on the open forum is anyone is interested).

                      Peter, to be clear, it is just a concern, not a conclusion. The TK is unquestionably original and the crimps look fine in the photo. Chances are that the pins are fine too. However, do you at least see the unusual characteristics that caused me to be suspicious that the pins may have been altered?

                          The pins display characteristics which are unusual for Overhoff, but if you say that you examined the TK closely in hand and have determined that the pins are untouched, fine. I'll gladly accept that this one is just an unusual specimine.

                          However, you needn't get defensive just because someone points out something odd which looks suspicious; we are just looking out for the buyer who asked for some help. I had no idea who the seller was, but, even if I did, I wouldn't care, as the item must stand on its own.
