Thank you for your clarification sir.

        this is the end story

I offered this this list of items for a swop .

SS helmet cover ...oak with a #2 over print .

US operation Dragoon type M-42 jump suit with lummo disk to back collar .

HG set , tunic with pants and hat .

        mint M-40 Kreg helmet .

        Water pattern Winter set .

JB brought the Combi over to me to play with it for an hour so so .
He was real nice and very civil .
Scott , I know he is mustard , but it was toe to toe ..............
We proed and conned out loud .
I said "look you have had this piece of crap for 40 years , time to say good bye "
He mummed and haaed and said "throw in your 44 dot set and it is a deal"
it is only old war stuff , as you know , worthless to Joe blow but I am into my 44 dot set .
        now the thing is ...
The combi is real nice , but very simple in form ,it has issues , repairs everywhere , but done in hand screened plain tree .
It is missing its buttons on the green side but has hand sewn buttons on the brownside .
to have one of these guys is awsome , bottom line a panzer dream .
        he said NO deal .
Well it was a good hunt and there is NO hard feelings
I cut some choice stuff his way that will move before the Albrotoss , but oh well .
Now I was thinking abput the officers panzer boards and crusher that was gonna be on that suit .
        Bottom line .................
Collecting is fun and it is not ofter you are even in the position to make a play on something like this .
We all have the books on this and as Matt Hall said to me yesterday "it is ALMOST as good as owning the real thing ".

Well sounds like it was a fair fight, and all players went home happy I believe. What condition is your dot set in? If I read correctly, he would go the trade if the dot set was in the mix, but you declined? If history is any guide, you'll probably have a shot at this kombi sometime down the road, at least you know where it is. Sit tight, good things come to those who wait!
