SS M34 black service tunic - opinions !

    Hello !

Here are the photos for judgment. Tunic is a theatre obtained piece and came from there with no insignia. The shoulder strap and colar piping are not original to this tunic and were added later by collector who intends sell it to me. Tunic shows some repairs and extra addition like the 5-th button loop, sewn by it's last owner. So ... Any red flags for the deal with this one ? To buy or not to buy ?

    Cheers,
    Pimpf

Hi Pimpf, the bottom slash pockets are not angled as they should be and appear to be set square on. The two "belt support" buttons from the rear are missing.

        Cheers, Ade.

Moreover this tunic had hooks You mentioned (they were removed and these places still visible). I hope to find good camera and take a photos with a high resolution.

                Alex,
I am sure I have seen this tunic before or a twin of it, does the tunic have one button hole removed from the front? you show what you call extra loop? this would then make it a 5 button front tunic yes?

                cheers,
                Gary
