I know too you longtime & hardcore SS collectors these are very common (no offence to you) , but we all had to start somewhere , so to me they are the first part of getting into collecting this very premier & addictive stuff . I think both of these have been worn , both seem to show some traces of thread as seen through a loup & the bevo eagle has what looks like glue or something on the back as seen in the photos , so whether this was later stuck in an album or other i don't know .

Both are very fine examples. I would be proud to have either in my collection. I particulatly like that eagle.
While unissued bevo insignia are relatively easy to find, uniform-removed pieces, which show honest signs of use can be quite difficult to locate, especially the tropical ones.
Congratulations, you are off to a great start.
