I found this ring, marked SS RZM and 36/??.

Does somebody know its purpose? Is it for a SS Edged weapon, or a ss flag pole....

What is the inside and outside diameter of this ring?
Likewise, the RZM mark seems rather crude as does
the overall casting, with oddly occurring flaws just
where it counts the most. Could be a trick, and
not a treat.

Ah, based on what? Is the 34mm the ID or OD?

outer diameter, 2 mm alu ring, 31mm inner

I have one of these rings as well. Mine is in mint condition. I think it may be part of the white belt harness / suspender system. The ring is at the back in the center. Your example is 100% real.
