    ss silverware on estand

What do you guys think of these. To me they look as if the ss runes were added later.

I kind of thought so also, but that's IMO, and I haven't looked at alot of these and I'm no expert. Comparisons would be nice. Research, research, research.

I don't see any German hallmarks to indicate any of it is silver......

It's not silver, as mentioned on Blade Edelstahl.

my thoughts exactly why mark a piece steel if it is silver?

            SS knife

The blade on the knife is stainless steel, not the handle.

              Silverware

The runics seem out of place near the barouque design of the handle. An inappropriate combination. Maybe it's just me.

                I would agree.

The handle is not silver either!

All silver plated, most in pretty bad condition with base metal showing through. Not much "polishing" left to be done on these..

                      Silverware

The manufacturer is not one I recognize among those that made SS silverware, though I'm no expert. If you use "SEARCH", there is some info on the common manufacturers. Look under "SS Fork" or "SS Spoon". This particular design looks too fancy to me also.
