Allach fraud on ebay ?

Noticed this auction

For an Allach bear on ebay.

Using the exact same pics as Wittman

I guess its possible that this guy is, or is associated with, Wittman.
But its looking mighty suspicious at this point.

I emailed Tom about this, haven't heard back from him yet.
My apologies in advance if this concern is unfounded.

If he was associated with Wittman, the description would be at least 5 paragraphs ( and spelled correctly!)

You are right, a 7 word description from Tom, or from anyone really who is legit, for something like this kinda defies logic.

Also, it states...No Returns...I doubt it has anything to do with Tom.

Strange.
The guy looks to have decent FB, last sale that is viewable is for an Allach piece.
You'd figure a flat out scammer would start out a bit lower, at least under $1,000, maybe with a BIN, to snare in a quick victim.
Technically, that item could be pulled, since it displays stylized SS runes.

He claims to be located in NJ, Toms in NJ .... But theres no question about it, the pics are Wittman, and are not very likely to be in that auction with his blessing.
Could it be possible that this guy bought it from Tom, and he didn't get around to taking down the sales page ?

Hope Tom replies to my email to clarify this for sure, will advise.
I was contemplating a bid on this, obviously looking none too good now, glad I checked around before making a move.

Here is the reply I got from the seller...

"THE ALLACH BEAR I AM SELLING IS AN ALLACH BEAR.
THE PICTURE I USED ON THE COMPUTER,IT WAS ABETTER
PICTURE THEN I HARD. THANK YOU FOR INTEREST.
FRANZ"

Could be all good. Then again, the guy types too fast and does not pay attention to details, like spelling. He does take Paypal though so you would have some protection if you use that along with a Visa..they will get your money back in a bad deal.

I received some pics, not Toms.
Taken in front of a patio door, with many leafs and a pumpkin on the patio, so it looks current.
A bit tacky to use someone elses pics like that, but it appears he has an identical item, got lazy and used to pilfered pics for a legit item.
