SS Hauptsturmführer shoulderboards bought from e-stand, opinions?

Hello guys,

I need some opinions and I hope you can help me out. Some time ago I bought these SS Hauptsturmführer shoulderboards from stand. Now these photos will be used in a book project here in Norway. But I would like some opinions on construction and style, how many boards like these with similar construction are known in other collections?

Are the pips silver or gold color? I think you should also post close-up of the piping and sideview of the boards

Thank you, the pips are silver. The previous pictures are taken outside in daylight, the new pictures indoor under a lamp. Hope this helps.

5. As you can see, the piping is not a white cord but part of white wool fastened inbetween the twisted silver cords and black wool. I am not an expert, this were done both ways?

Do the prongs go right through the shoulder board? I'm not fond of the pips...
