SS Police Officers Uniforms and Hats

This is a subject I do not know a whole lot about, but I find it rather interesting. Forum member Bonneville just had an SS police officers HBT uniform jacket on the E-stand and it seemed to answer a few questions, but invited a few more. With his permission I borrowed some of his photos to discuss this subject.

Do any other members have similar uniforms with the mix of SS and Police insignia? I see it in photos but never knew the colors of tabs and boards.

Here is another period photo with great detail. It does not seem like the waffenfarbe colors match on the boards and tabs, plus it's hard to determine the background color of the tabs.
