I prefer them either way mint or worn but as several have stated sometimes we don't have a choice if we want to collect this stuff when it comes around. The worn pieces show character while the mintier pieces show the beauty of the workers hand. I would far more have a mint set of general's collar tabs than one that has lost it's luster. Whilest I would also enjoy a nice battle worn Hohenstaufen cufftitle from the fields of Arnhem. I have not had many chances to get nice early vertical skull tabs so when this one came along i took it, no questions asked. It is battle worn and also moth worn but i love it just the same.
