First of all let me say I'm sorry for just assuming that you all were going to kick my butt about this cap. The story is that I was an active collector in the 70's as a teenager but set the collecting aside for family/career. The collecting bug never really left and I'm back as much as the checkbook allows.

I've had the cap in storage since the mid 70's and my son is teaching me to operate a digital camera and post. The only thing not photographed about this cap is a bit of white waffenfarbe under the flap. There are no markings inside. I'll be posting other odd ball items soon for comments. Yes , the butt-kicking does keep a lot of the more interesting ( deviant ) period items from being shown - especially in this section .
