                    I picked up a nice aluminum M1/52 eagle at the MAX. I was shocked. Also a 394/35. Pickings were slim.

                      I really don't see how the eagle that started this thread could be aluminum with that type of solder on it...what does it weigh?

                          It is light as a feather and I can 100% say that it is absolutely aluminum.
                          Try doing a search on "soldering aluminum" on Google.
                          I found some interesting stuff.
