    SS Victory Rings????

Hey guys, I have seen these rings at the bigger shows and have always wondered if these were legit items or are they fantasy pieces. I have found one for sale but would like to have some input on these. Does anyone else have an example like this??

Thank you in advance for any help provided!!

    Cheers

Other than the "known" patterns of private purchase SS rings, I'd stay away from such items. The majority of these types of rings are fake. That's not to say that all other private purchase SS rings are phony, but the odds are definitely not in your favor.

I'm sure that Germania Int. could compose a whole page of drivel in support of this 'desirable' piece.

That ring and others like them are 100% postwar fantasy. a fairy tale ring from a fairy tale site....

The only victory was for the person selling this to the unsuspecting collector. That is no victory for which to be proud.

              SS Ring

Many thanks to all you who gave input on this ring. Having seen them at the bigger shows and on bigger sites just made me second guess my opinion on these! Is there a book or website that displays some original rings from the time period??

Thanks once again for taking time to respond to this thread!!

              Cheers,

Fake. There are also "victory" rings for the Heer, and Luftwaffe that I have seen. The "one dealer" who ALWAYS has them is Bob Johnston, aka Germania International. He was the dealer in the 90s, who always had a plentiful supply of the fake Prussian Police Disks. Stay away from these rings!
