Just an observation but if that is the actual photo of the guy whos cap that is, how come in the pic there is no SS eagle but the cap has an outline of where an eagle once was. Unless it was removed due to regulations during the war... But I dont think so. Maybe I'm wrong, just a thought...

THIS type of Latvian skull should not be confused with the REPRO on the actual cap that goes with it . Which btw also is known as a Latvian skull - but in the wrong way ..
