                      Outstanding stuff Jon,

                      The ring in & of itself is a great collectible item, especially when you're able to nail the name down to 1 guy. The fact he was an LAH guy makes it so much more appealing as well as the added history you have on him. You really can't get much better than that, a picture, even a bad picture is so nice to have. I have a small dossier on my ring's owner but am in the process of trying to find a picture of him & whether or not he survived the war. Thanks for sharing your treasure.

                            I AGREE 100%!!!

                            The same thing can be said for original SS, camo, Heer, etc...helmets; visor caps; or any genuine militaria.

                            Nice ring by the way . I don't collect these...but if I did I would want this one.
