I like pretty much everything about the cap, but the marking on the sweatband is really odd and the type of thing I've previously only ever seen on copies...

Could the sweatband be replaced? It sure looks strange. Maybe the original was in really bad shape and someone put the repo sweatband in its place.The hat looks like it has honest wear.The hat has been around in collections in my area for 40 years.The hat was sold to the collector by a florida dealer named Don Miller back in the 70s.
