    Wewelburg silverware...
    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
    The marking of this silverware is of two types. One the SS runes and Webelsburg marking. Two, No SS runes with just Wewelsburg.
    Unfortunately, the SS runic markings have been erased from most of the items....
    Are such items often seen in collections??? There must not be that much of them made???

                  Not often seen! These are produced by the Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG (wmf).

                  Regards, Jim

                    Hello Marc.

                    The few untouched Wewelsburg cutlery items I have seen over the years have usually gone for about £400 GBP each.

                    The defaced ones are probably worth less...............but they are still interesting, as 'de-Nazified' items.
