    SS Pith Shields

    Good morning guys. Need to help on some SS Pith Shields. I know that these are heavily and well faked. I like the way these look but I am otherwise clueless on what fine details to look for. Thanks in advance!

        i think this ones have normaly skrews on the back.the holes are too great for a prong.

          These are incorrect for several reasons, the way the pins are attached are a dead give away and they lack the crisp details of originals. If you send my your email I can send you pics of nice original examples or search the forum, some great threads on these.

          As for the screws, only seen 1 set of shields that I liked with screw like parts instead of pins. That set resides with one of the forum members here. never seen a set of SS ones with the screw backs... but never say that there isn't that possibility. Matt

                    Ive never seen screws on a set of SS but I have seen it on 1 heer shield. It would take a small bolt to secure the shield. It was definatly different. Matt
