Hi,
Got this with a group of items today. The eagle seems to be large, 3.5 inch wing tip to wing tip. I always consider SS insignia fake until proven otherwise. Opinions appreciated.

I always consider SS insignia fake until proven otherwise.

That is a wise practice. Unfortunately, in this case, "otherwise" will never come. These are well-known fakes.

The eagle is commonly referred to as the "bowling pin" fake, due to the shape of the body.

Sadly, I can not say when these fakes were made or by whom, which is grounds for some to consider them original.

Litzen

Is that the three run on other side plastic core Litzen !

Well, litzen is fake, so are the rest of the tabs and also the eagle.

A good advise would be to browse the fake SS items threads pinned at the top of this SS forum.
