W-SS Visor Cap for Check!!!

There are some very strange things about this cap.

1. The sweatband does not look original to the cap.
2. The uncoated buckram is very odd.
3. Why would a Schirmmutze have cloth insignia instead of metal. Any holes in the centre band?

no holes to see or feel from the in and outside.i think no metal insignias was on this cap.is it possible it was a crusher cap?i ask because i have see this buckram on some crusher caps.possible the visor/sweatband was changed?

By the way, i like it! IMO: Schirm looks good, skull looks good..

Maybe it started off life as a crusher, but the visor was damaged? Is there any evidence of the visor being replaced? I like it too, very cool cap!

i can nothing see behind the buckram

and i see no evidence of a replaced visor.when the visor was changed than professionel.imo.
