    Hi!!!

    Thx for the link.

    There is one fact we forgot, Austria was part of third reich from '38.

    Austria was in former times known for jewellery during KUK monarchy, and one important fact is, that it was "common" to stamp the rings also on outside.

    I found exact the same silver-mark in one of the links Lupara posted.

    The only difference is the sign "W" indead of "I" / Correction it is not a "J" it is "I"

    So it seems the ring was Austrian made.

        The marks are always the 'tell'!

        Germany wouldn't have stamped their mark on the outside,,,but Austria often did!
