Actually it is from the Latin word, "Hospitalis".

Hospital as a word was indeed used during the War by the German Military, There was an SS Hospital near Berlin- SS-Hospital am Botanischen Garten.

That said in my opinion the coat is gauche haute couture.

I would submit that it simply has not been "upgraded" yet with sport shirt runes and a name tag! The ink on those stamps looks like it could still smear.

It's one of those items that you can never prove is real so why bother. It looks like something off one of these Websites who specialize in selling things that nobody can prove are fake.

I like the other "SS Lab Smock", but the Faker should have spritzed on a little Swine Blood to really amp it up. That Smock is almost famous, at this point.
