    W-SS Shoulder Boards Display

I was just messing around with my single boards tonight, trying to make sense of the mess. I have been trying to get an em, nco, and officer for every waffenfarbe, and now there are just a few I am missing. I think the tough ones are the KZ em and officer, and Smoke NCO.
Here they are in a case. The top 3rd from right is an officer board, black on black with rzm tag. That has been the hardest to get so far of the uncyphered boards.

Here are some of the Infantry ones enlisted ones. Just need Oberscharführer if someone has an extra in order to complete the em ranks.

The Unterscharführer is an early unissued model made with the fealty wool. The Hauptscharführer is a field upgrade board, note narrower and smaller, so maybe a shirt board.

If anyone has a lead on the following let me know, would like to compete this display. KZ em & Officer, Smoke NCO, Medical em, Signals officer, Field Police Officer, Cavalry Officer, Panzer Sturmscharmführer & Officer, and Infantry Oberscharführer. I have some singles to trade also.

That is a fantastic and stunning piece of work that you have going there! I love seeing large collections of the same types of items displayed as you have here, it really gives one perspective on just how vast and complicated the German TR insignia was.

                    Two questions if you please....

                    1. How long has it taken you to get this far?
                    2. What is the board in the first photo that is bottom left? The pointed one that is black with silver outline?

Best of luck finding the remaining boards!

The bottom left one is an earlier black SS board in the Feldbluse type construction. It is missing 2 pips, so have to add those.

I have been seriously collecting boards about 10 years. These SS ones only about 8 years. Mike Beaver gave me some of my first ones. The first one I ever got was from him, the early em field police board.
