IMO as far as I can tell from the pictures I don't see anything wrong with both field caps. I like the material, the lining and the construction.

Wonder if the new book on SS from Mike Beaver and Bill Shea may help here. Im waiting for my copy from amazon.com [$73.00 with free shipping]. Does anyone outthere have a copy and do the homework comparing pictures?
