    SS-Shoulder Board?

Got this old shoulder board at a estate sale many years ago. Brought back by a vet and still don't know anything about it. I'm more into american military but will pick up german if it goes cheap enough at flea markets and auctions. This shoulder board came in a small bag along with about 15 other boards some look like WWI. Somebody in another part of the forum told me to move the topic here in the SS section because he thought it was a SS training school shoulder board

        Tolz

Yes, it is a board for the SS officer canidate shhool at Bad Tolz. It looks good to me . The very few that I have seen had white waffenfarbe. It is a rare find.

I need a value on this SS JS/T shoulder board. I've had a lot of emails from potential buyers but I need a good honest value because I'll probably put it on e-stand and I have no idea of it's value!

Is the piping color on the JS/T board pink? If so...very, very rare.

                    Gary,

Recruiting would be more appropriate than panzer...on my monitor it looked pink, but thats close enough to orange on monitors I suppose. I was asking because I just wasn't sure. Panzer would be awful cool...

                    Thanks Gary,

                    Richard

                      JS-T Board

[SIZE="2"]It looks orange to me as well, and recruting would be the most logical.
Peter Whamond of the Collector's Guild is selling a single officer's JS Cypher for $316 but Peter's prices are not the lowest arround. I would guess that a single Hauptsturmfuhrer's recruting board in this condition would go for $250 to $300? The small Tolz cypher $50 to $80? So the parts would run from $550 to $700. The premium for being an original rather than put together piece $300? So total dealer's price somewhere between $850 to $1,000?. If sold on the e-stand $750. Just my opinions. Let's see if anyone else would agree with my estimates./SIZE]

Thanks for your help in giving me a idea of it's value and the piping is orange.
