    SS collar tab. Fake?

    Hello ,
I have had this runic tab for a little while, before becomng a WAF member.
I have looked through the fake gallery but cant see one the same.
I would like your opinions on it.
I think I got burned with this with some other items I have already posted from the same dealer.

Thanks in advance and regards to all

I think you got burned, but I hope I am wrong.

John, I have one like this that i acquired years ago as a green collector.

Do you mind me asking, who is the dealer that sold this to you? Please pm me if you don't want to post.

            cheers

            Tom

Thanks to everyone, your comments just confirm my own thoughts. Tom I will pm you with the dealers details. Unfortunately I was green and bought a few things from him. At the time I did not quite realise the attention to detail you have to pay attention too. The reading I did, just was not good enough. Unfortunately I will be posting a few other items. But I will wait until my red face dissapears before I do post them.

                thanks again John

You aren't the first and certainly won't be the last to fall foul of inscrupulous dealers and insufficient knowledge ... been there, done that (and still get them wrong .... just not as often now)

                  Ian.

It amazes me how hard it is to tell these things apart.

I recently found out there is a crash course here in Holland you can take that teaches you to identify real SS patches from fakes its a 6 month course and that's the crash course, dear god what have I gotten myself into why can I never find a cheap and easy hobby .
