That is a great image, but those are vertical enlisted tabs and he is looking for horizontal officer tabs.

The tabs pictures in the photograph are of the vertical type.

I see the skulls are facing the same direction. Shouldn't they be facing each other to be true "mirror" tabs?

There are all sorts of combinations.

This is because the first 'mirror' tabs were made up from stock vertical skulls.

It depended what was available..................and the 'mirror' combination only lasted (officially) for a relatively short time.
