Dirlwanger Uniform

Hello,

i get offert from a very old collection a dirlwanger uniform. I get many uniforms in my life, but a original Dirlwanger i nevers see. So my question: Did someone know if the tunics where onyl produces in KZ Ravensbrück and from witch time the Dirlwanger Brigade had her own tunics? Thanks Chris

I'm not sure that the Dirlewanger Division had it's "own" uniform.
I guess they got their uniforms from the same supply stores as the rest of the SS units ?

no for sure, they get the Tunics from Ravensbrück, and yes they had there own tunics, they get them very late but they have one. I post the pictures from the tunic how offert to me later. In ravensbrück are also the camo tunics incl. Leibertarn where produced. I only must know the date......not so easy i know

Are the collar tabs intact? Can you post a photo for reference? Hope you get it, but I would definitely check it out here with some of the older ss collectors with experience here, before purchase.

sure the jacket is perfect in condition. Incl. Paper ID Tag on Front. The Jacket are produced in Ravensbrück but never go out to the owner. And after the war the tunic was captured from ravensbrück from a diplomatic member from germany.

I for one would say this tunic is a repro. I dont know about the insignia but the cloth looks wrong, the stamps look wrong, the tag looks wrong and there is no way an unissued tunic would have an EK2 ribbon on it! Just MHO.

I think its bogus, look at the eagle, the marking and also the wrong spelling of "Drillich - Rock" at the label.

I am in no way a cloth/uniform expert but I agree with all the above especially the bit regarding an unissued tunic with an EKII ribbon. Isn't that a little odd?

Bogus SS-BW stamp. Unissued jacket with speciality bagde, EK2 ribbon and Uscha rank? Too much for me....
