    www.ww2-camouflage.com needs your help.

    Hi there,

I need for my new webside http://www.ww2-camouflage.com some pictures of original pea dot 43 and 44 items. The pictures have to be your own and the rights cannot belong to somebody else. All pictures in good quality needed about: Tunics, trousers, close ups, stamps and so on. I cannot pay but if I will use your picture, you will be listed with your name for honor and glory.

http://www.ww2-camouflage.com is a new database, in the beginning, about all camouflage pattern of WW2.
It needs you to become a professional place for WW2 living historians, re-enactors, collectors and a big help for newbies.

Please use the contact section on the webside for all your questions, critic and hopefully a lot of help.

Thanks a lot for your attention comrades,

    Krishna.

    what for ?

    ...... to support you promotion - site for zeugmeisterei-militaria - your " favorite vendor " ??

buy yourself some originals - take pics and put them on your site.

or make a website without links and shop ( just for ww2 camo ) and we can talk about it.

    Grüße

      You are allways wellcome Sax.

      Hi Sax,

a friend of mine got an original dot 44 tunic but that is not enough to make a professional statement about that camo pattern, right? Some people sent me pictures from different forums, but it would be nice if some more would help.

Why are you so aggressive Sax?

This webside will be a professional place ( with or without your help Sax) for everybody to inform about camo of WW2, best repro vendors (not only Zeugmeisterei) and if you like too, to buy original or repro items.

Wish you a nice weekend and you are allways wellcome with your help Sax,

      Krishna.

We already have Mike Beaver's books for this. Why duplicate success?

          Mike Beaver's books

          Hi there,

          good question.
I was asked a lot by younger people interested in this WW2 thing about uniforms, camouflage and so on. There are a lot of people who don´t want or cannot afford to buy the professional but expansive books like "Camouflage Uniforms of the WSS, or of the Wehrmacht" both together for around 140 Euro. I know that there are cheaper alternatives but most of the younger generation today use the net and not a book for information. That´s the spirit of the time.

I think www.ww2-camouflage.com could be a good alternative for them. It cannot and don´t want to has the same aspiration like a book, but it will be a good first overview about the theme with pictures of originals and some history.

Hopefully it will also be a big help that newbies will see the difference between a cheap and with wrong colours and pattern printed camo replica, which are a common thing at ebay and somewhere else, and a professional replica. Also to get an information data base who is producing and where to buy them.

Still some pictures needed about original Erbsentarn / Dot 43 and 44 tunics, trousers, close ups and stamps. Any help is more than wellcome.

          Best regards,

          Krishna.

First of all if you operate that website and your business from germany you need to list your legal information (Impressum), especially since you have a web shop on your site. I suppose you have your business registered? If not that will be another problem as you can't sell just so in a dealer's manner.

You run the risk of someone who has all that is going to send you cease-and-desist warning through his/her lawier and that can be expensive.

                You got problems....

                My dear Fritz,

everything is fine with my webside and the little shop, which is more like a fleemarket.
The webside is just two days old. Impressum and AGB will follow.

Jesus, you guys got problems. If you don´t wanna help with pictures than let it be sax. Others do.

                Wish you a nice sunday.

                Krishna.

Krishna, if there isn't something in it for them they don't want it and will do nothing but rattle your cage.... I've got a question are you also looking for reproduction items to to catalog on your site?
I can understand about a cheaper version of info. Most of the really great books are either long gone and or expensive..

                  Good luck with your project

1st of all I am not your dear Fritz. 2nd, if you consider it a flea market type business that is fine, it holds however no value to the german law.

After all I couldn't care less if somebody will take advantage of your unorganized situation. The somewhat more humbly toned PM you have sent me two hours after your post suggests that you have been able to understand the seriousness of my kind advise.

                    So, good luck.

I can say for certain that your contribution in the wide field of ss camouflage on that forum has been less than small.

That raises the question on what foundation you base your challenge towards the contributions of other members?

I am not sure if I should be disgusted or amused by that post of yours.

please contact me for the future over the webside www.ww2-camouflage.com in the contact section because I don´t want to answer any questions or comments here anymore to this topic.

Please if someone will help me with pictures or information about Dot 43 or 44, you are very wellcome.

If they cannot afford 140 Euros, how do you expect them to afford 4-5,000 Euros for an original Waffen-SS camouflaged garment? Unfortunately, this is a RICH MAN'S HOBBY as original Waffen-SS camouflage is very expensive. They don't even have the ante to be dealt a hand in this game.

I do have to agree with you on this Bob I've been out of the collecting field for almost 20 years and just started back up over a year ago. SS items in general as well as other TR items have SKY ROCKETED in those 20 yrs. Cloth insignia which I could pick up for "A Dime a Dozen" you've got to give your Right Arm now. Case in point I had sold 3 of my SS eagles which were on a strip and had only paid $125.00 for all 3 sold for $250. to $275. EACH. I also had at one time a very nice original Plane Tree smock and zelt which I unfortunatly lost in the California State Fire a few years ago along with most of my collection. I paid less then $400. for those back in 1975 or 76 at a flea market in Maine when I was a kid and just starting out.
So yes Waffen SS camouflage/ uniform collecting has become a RICH MAN HOBBY as well as a MINE FEILD for FAKES if one doesn't know what they're doing.
So I guess what I'm saying is "ANY resource or ref. outlet be it a book or web site is most welcome in my Eyes" regradless if it' Cheap or Expensive!
