        Cuff Title

Embroidery execution is first give away. Very bad. Band construction is also wrong.

          Not an original cuff title.

A bad piece. The wire and construction do not match known originals. Particularly the reverse, where the reinforcing panel should be cut down to match the size of the hand embroidery.

Has the "SS Schule Braunschweig" title ever been observed executed in this type of hollow tube bullion? I know a couple of Sutterlin cufftitles ("Adolf Hitler"
and "SS-Sportschule Sternberg a./M."), as well as "Grenz-Polizie" in latin script that use it, but are there examples in Gothic? The quality of the embriodery certainly compares to the known originals using the hollow tube bullion, so I guess, absent a period photo or specimen, that the band material itself is the way to determine originality. It would take a very advanced collector of cufftitles to tell you which cufftitles may have been executed in this style...

If you can, would you post images of these particular cuff titles in "hollow tube bullion"?

Here are a couple more, both web finds and I cannot attest to their authenticity; but from the pics (I know, the second one is atrocious) I think they could be OK.
