Any opinions on the engraving of this ring?
it seems that the ring engraving is not crisp and deep or is this OK?
It is a 1938 (before transition) ring.

I would appreciate some advice as to whether the engraving is ok.
    thank you gentlemen.

I was wondering if pitting on such rings was also common. I have never come across TK HR Rings with these pitting holes. Any advice?

The image below belongs to another ring.

They are probably from the acid test to determine the purity of the silver.

The ring may be ground dug.

From the photos it looks more good than bad!

Gahr didn't solder like that! Those dots could be from a professional re size though.

I have put the photos as belonging to Ring A and Ring B

Would Ring A be a good ring based on the inside engraving style?
The exterior has the runes all badly worn so there is nothing to show.

                      Oh, a ring A and a B.. O.K.

Referring to ring B for pock marks..

                        Rings

If I had to judge on the engraving alone, I'd say that ring "A" is good. If ring "B" is good, which the engraving suggests, then it has been resized, and very poorly. I don't doubt the previous assessment that an acid test was possibly performed, but if so, the person was an idiot. How much is pure silver worth anyway? My gut feeling is that the pock marks were made during the resizing. Regardless........Why the limited photos? Let's see the rest of those rings.

                          SGStandard, thank you.
I have added a front shot for Ring A as requested.

I actually dont like the eyes of the skull for Ring A.
Even if badly worn, the shape of the eyes should still remain round / oval?

Ring has has been badly worn and does not even show a complete rune.

                            Ring

The eyes look fine to me. They were a different shape on the 30's style skull, than the more oval shape on the 40's ones. It appears to be a nice transitional ring. Ring "B" we need more pics.

                              Both good rings, IMHO.
