Totenkopf collartab

Dear collectors,

when I was cruising on the website of Weitze, I came across this Totenkopf collartab:

My collection of SS collartabs is rather small (only one SS ...) and this is the same with my knowledge about them.

Can somebody tell me more about this one that is for sale on Weitze?

It is so-called Dachau type, probably the most encountered and easiest to find.

The price on Weitze (550.00 EUR = $769.350 USD) site is a bit too high IMO. One week ago it was sold here (EStand) for $300 (2 1/2 times cheaper): http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=365128

But, to be fair, that was a give-away price. Typically these sell for between $500 and $600 on the market.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but I agree the TK price was fair, but it seems a lot of the dachau insignia has gone down in price over the last year. a majority of it is very common and there is tons of it. A prinz Eugen yesterday for 185 usd paypal and delivered. I think the new prices seem in line with reality. there are tens of thousands of unissued cufftitles, those are crashing in price too. just no real demand at those prices, and they are not really that rare.
