      If its real it was made in Italy (Padova)...Sure looks like Italian HBT lining material to me!

          Sorry but I don’t like it at all. BerVen made headgear for the Germans in the years 43(end)/45; at that time this model of cap was outdated, being the M43 caps introduced.
          Moreover the mark itself, in this style, seems not to be correct.
          Better you spend your money somewhere else.

              Originals exist...but heavily post war reproduced
              I agree with the above comment
              there is a problem of chronology about this side cap, BP production is definitively late in the war....too late for a side cap.

              If someone can present some guenine BP M43 cap's, that could be interesting, I owned 2 in the past and I have always considered these
              like...intriguing

                    True the chronology is a problem...post armistice Italian produced would have to be an M43 style...
                    as overseas caps were obsolete by that date... (post September 1943)
