Thoughts on 2 sleeve eagles

Hi Everyone,

Someone emailed me photos of the top eagle as I have one just like it on my website. I bought mine from a respected dealer some time ago. But the odd thing is both eagles are tunic removed and trimmed off almost the same way.

Are these eagles good? I've never come across another until the second one turned up.

The top eagle photos were sent to me the bottom eagle is mine.

Nice eagles!
It is not odd to me that both eagles are closely trimmed and cut off in the same way, because it could have been made by the same GI. Quite likely since this rare style is encountered twice and probably taken from the same group of SS POW's or casualities. And the SS soldiers got their jackets from the same lot of supplied new material. Adds upp I would say. Different kind of stitches as well which is nice!
