I wouldn't buy the skull if were loose let's put it that way. The eagle is 100% fake, as is the stamping.

The skull on the cap that started the thread is a reproduction. It is a well known repro as well. For those in doubt, please do a search on the forum.

That is the original this fake is attempting to duplicate. Put the two photos side-by-side and the differences should be quite apparent.

Thanks for info and opinions gents. I think also both skull and eagle are fake, when have it in hand. Also cap offcause. The skull at panzer cap seem 100% to me. They are not same woven imo. Gisle

They are quite similar, but still there are distinct differences. In addition to the basic weave being different, take a look at the differences in the left eye, nose, and teeth.
