SS beer bottle "Truppen übungsplatz Heidelager (debica)

    Hi guy's
I bought this bottle last week in Normandie.
I would appreciate if you could gave me your opinion about this SS beer bottle.

As you can see it says on the porcelan cap: "Tr.üb.Pl. Heidelager" and "SS Eigentum".

    Thanks
    Marcel

              ss bottle tops

Could it be possible that the fakes where duplicated after a real item? Just because people copied PAB's not all PAB's are fake. The bottle stopper posted here is even pitted I haven't seen a fake look this aged. It's one thing to roll it around in gravel and leave it in the rain, but we may be jumping to conclusions here. Its just like the aluminum salve containers marked with SS. There are fakes all over the place, but I have seen ground dug items as well.

                heidelager

This bottle doesn't have to be a beer bottle (LAGER) Heidelager is an actual place occupied by the SS.

They are as fake as a $3 bill, you are wasting your time trying to justify them.
"They look nice & old", "I saw one on a dealer site" does not make up for the fact that these were not produced in Germany.

                      Doesn´t look germanic??

It is a bottle, not a Standarte or a book.

Apart from that it is exactly how original pieces ought to look like.

By that way: how many soldiers went through Heidelager while it existed?

So how many bottles were made?

And how many may still be out there?

If this is a fake show me an original one since other SS-bottles I am aware of (Dachau) do bear not the identical but the very same look.
