Tou are correct that it is a copy. The lettering is not similar to the originals.

I think, if you do a search in the Police Forum, you will find some original examples.

Hi Bob,
No big mystery on these. They were produced at the Prussian State Mint, so they are all the same. Die marks are consistant. There has only been one "good" attempt at faking them. I doubt anyone will ever attempt that again.

Why do people consistently go after this c rap, when a perfectly fine example is available on this site's E-Stand? Is it trying to get an example at a cheap price? The real ones are expensive. If you want one, be prepared to pay the price instead of wasting your time and trying to get it authenticated on the forum.
