    ss poster help

Does anyone have opinions on this poster? It looks to be period but I only have limited knowledge of posters.
I did post it in the Photo and paper forum but had no response. Tim.

    Hi Tim,

Your photo is not showing in this thread but I looked at your other thread in the paper forum.

What further information are you looking for?

It stands a chance of being authentic as there was at least one version (maybe more) done for recruitment in Holland. These have been reproduced though.

Indeed this poster could make a chance, but it seems like they've cut some edges. Is there still a small text visable on the side under? What kind of paper is it made of? Cheap thin material or thick "good-quality" paper?

You should be carefull with these nice looking posters! A lot of copys around.

                    poster

based on what I see on these pictures I tend to say it's a copy!
But on the other hand, hands-on inspection could clear it up because pictures can deceive you

Notice how the LOWER edge has been shortened / TRIMMED ! That's where the info about the reprint was cut away . I've seen a lot of these over here on the fleamarkets , and even when cut all around , the paper used should say enough . Sorry ..
