Just a small, soiled, SS ribbon bar

Only SS thing I have that isn't paper or photograph.

Has cloth backing, pin back, SS mounted LS emblem, though bar is dirty.

A no money value item, but was given to me by "Das Reich" Oakleaves winner Ernst August Krag, all his other/actual medals were taken. It sits on the rim of one of his framed signed photos where it will stay.

Did mr krag ever elaborate to say what happened that his items were taken. Was it a theft or at capture? or?

Capture. He had some of his award certificates (see his biography I wrote for illustrations), though none for his KC or EL. That honestly didn't bother him, only paperwork that mattered to him was his Gold Wound Badge certificate. He was more proud of that then the KC. The uniform with no insignia he went home in after capture, totally mothy after many years, he later traded to a collector.
