Everyone in this hobby (business?) makes errors regardless of how honest they are or how much they know.

This ring has a lot right about it that is often found as wrong on copies. My problems are that the skull and bones look very off from any original that I have seen. I also think that the attachement of the skull is too poor. The backgrounds in the geometric designs look un-like originals and the some of the runic characters (at least maybe all hard to tell in these photos) are not just like originals.

Basically the ring is made correctly and every thing is generally of the right pattern, but IMO the details are not correct and can be explained in a die struck ring.

The first ring was on the Relics of the Reich site.

The one on the emedals site is not original................the runes at the back are a dead giveaway.

So was that TWO unnamed rings for sale in as many days? Or the same one bouncing around between dealers?

      Very odd.

Another fake, with similar runes at the back.

        Named this time.

The ring was one and the same.

            Thanks.

In that case, it was a fake.

              TKRing

Robin is certainly correct. Decent workmanship, but still a fake.

                    ..............and another.

On seeing this, maybe the blank fake was left blank because the faker just could not master the engraving inside!
