          I'll give it a shot for what it's worth. Not sure about the rank tab, but the runes give me concern. The embroidery should be a lot tighter. Additionally, the runes seem "off". They should be centered, with a couple of very narrow exceptions, e.g. they formerly had a unit number which was removed.
          Hope that helps, and my guess is that some other folks will weigh in on these.

                  we could have a close up of the runes?

                  i really don't like the rank tab. litzen seems really more aged than tab and piping isn't stiched as usual. a close up of the reverse (brown area) could be very interesting.

                    The litzen appears more aged because it is real tarnished silver thread as opposed to aluminum. The loose embroidery of the runes is typical of a few I've seen lately, and which I believe to be reproductions...
