    SS shoulderboards

    Hi,

    2 questions on them:

    1. are they period done?

    2. are the yellow ones Kavallerie or Radio (Funker)?
are the red ones Nebelwerfer / Artillerie?

    Thanks for your help!

Neither of the shoulder boards are for my collection.
That kind of golden yellow is for cavalery and that red colour is for artillery.

                  Cheers,
                  Felix

First set looks too well made to be late war and I dont think the HBT is good. never seen such stampings on shoulder straps. I do not like them.

Second set is not original IMHO.

The first set looks like late war Heer. But the stamping throws me, too. I'm not ready to write them off just yet.

You might be correct about the first set. But I have never seen this kind of HBT used and these stampings.

Perhaps someone else may have a better opinion.

                          Cheers

I'm skeptical about stencils on shoulder straps and don't like the additional sewing on the tops of the first pair. If I saw these on somebody's table at a show, personally I would pass on them (my opinion).

Is anyone else surprised/dubious about the brightness of the golden yellow piping .... or is it falsely bright in the photo ?
