Robert, that was my thought also, I know that Tyschen had a dedicated group of Veterans in Das Reich , but the runes on the plate seemed odd to me ? I did not think they where allowed ?

No Jim, I didn't. For whatever reason, compared to other groups that one was pretty "closed" to others. I knew members (Boska, several GC holders, and others) but was never invited to a Treffen and don't know anyone who was. It was a small group, like to SS-Bataillon "N" vet group.

I like Fritz Weitzel's Allach desk set here. But I doubt if he used it much. It is mint. Oops. I forgot I can't post as I didn't renew that pesky fee to share my collection with others. But that is my favorite as well as his birthday present PPK from Himmler.
