Well after many years of searching I finally have a photo of the great artist Ottomar Anton that I can share.

His grandson is the small boy in the other circle.

This was taken around 1968 at a small family gathering.

Sorry for the watermarks but you guys know how it is.

It's not the greatest photo of him but I'm still working on getting some better ones when he was younger.

If one turned up of him in SS uniform it would be neat .

Hi Harm

I'm in touch with his family. They still have some of his original paintings - no SS stuff though.

I'm hoping they can come up with photos of him when he was young but as the generations move on (time too) that stuff gets forgotten. From what I've seen so far besides the paintings they have a small box of momentoes from Anton and that's about it.

Anyway I'm still working on it.

Someone just had to have it.....

Sold at Auction for EUR 1,300.... +20% buyer premium +21%VAT...

So if the buyer was subject to VAT, he has just outlayed EUR 1,833 + shipping for a poster that I have seen listed numerous times for under EUR 300

As much as I love the work of Harald Damsleth, I just don't see a high value in these given how numerous they are.
